DP World Update
Our Brisbane terminal operations have been significantly impacted following a storm that passed through the site yesterday afternoon (Sunday, 13 November 2016).
Terminal operations ceased at 1730 hours yesterday.
Limited vessel operations started this morning, and the terminal is still closed for landside operation.
A number of container stacks in the old yard and in our ASC modules have collapsed, and several have been damaged.
Today the terminal is focused on restoring full terminal operations as quickly as possible and are running 24-hours behind schedule by 1700 hours today.
The cut off time for vessels that are open for receivals during this period will be extended.
Vessel operators will be informed by DP World Australia Customer Centre Scheduling of the revised port program and vessel scheduling.
Container operators will be informed of damaged containers as they become available.
We appreciate your patience and kind understanding.
Regular bulletins will be distributed throughout the day.
